Louisiana Economic Development (LED), with the support of Governor Blanco and the state Legislature, is proud to offer the Regional Awards and Matching Grant Program.

An integrated global marketing and communications initiative is a key component of LED's strategic plan to move Louisiana Forward. Through the Regional Awards and Matching Grant Program, we are more closely aligning the strength and diversity of regional marketing efforts with statewide marketing initiatives, ultimately maximizing Louisiana's overall investment in reaching out to business decision-makers and other key audiences.

The program funding is available on two levels. The Regional Awards (Tier 1) will be provided to regional Economic Development Organizations in exchange for deliverables that are necessary for successful marketing.
The Matching Grants (Tier 2) will be awarded to those entities that demonstrate new or original marketing and communications programs that promote Louisiana to potential investors in national and international markets.
