Overview
The Acadiana region offers businesses all of the essential ingredients they need in order to thrive – a world-class workforce with a strong work ethic, access to digital telecommunications, and real estate and facilities that are affordable and readily accessible to two interstate highways, four ports and two major airports.

Location
Acadiana is located in southwest Louisiana, abuts the Gulf of Mexico, and is comprised of eight parishes – Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary and Vermilion.

Higher Education
Acadiana is home to the University of Louisiana – Lafayette, eight technical colleges and a community college, and a two-year branch of Louisiana State University.

Quality of Life
Acadiana is Louisiana’s cultural jewel. It is home to the unique Cajun and Creole cultures and all that that implies…great food, great music, great cultural institutions and events, and a joie de vivre second to none.
